Gene's cd actually made me laugh out loud. When i listened to it i couldn't stop picturing someones father singing karaoke to something like mest or the ataris. when i first put it on i was like, hey this music is pretty good then BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA when the vocals came in.

the Velvet Revolver cd is like you said, nothing new. I've listened to it a few times to try to like it but there is just nothing there.

    Oh. How'd you hear them?

And I would just like to say, geez, I had such high hopes for both of these releases. I am shocked to hear that somebody doesn't like them.

I might check out the VR album at some point. I'd never heard Weiland before, but I saw a Stone Temple Pilots vid on tv a few weeks back, and he was better than I expected.
